Do you know why a car will only start if you remove a spark plug?

It is a 2008 Nissan Armada.  It will not start with all  Spark plugs in their cylinders. We removed the spark plug from cylinder #1 and it starts right up.  You can hear and see the spark from the removed coil pack and plug.

Any ideas on what could cause this issue?

Thank you and have a blessed day.

weak battery maybe. Did you try boosting it from another vehicle?

@imperator I have to check. I know the battery had died after sitting for a while and while running some diagnostics.

I did get some codes for it, having to do with the VVT Solenoids. And also a few other codes.

Still trying to figure it out.
Thank you for your time.
