2009 Honda CR V just hit 100k miles. Dealer says we need to have the fuel system cleaned as part of the standard maintenance for $250. The car runs fine. Maybe they are going to clean the fuel injectors but I think they're going to put some additive in the fuel tank...
Is this service even required?
Thanks

If your car is running just fine, … tell ‘em to fly a kite with this "we need to"! That simple, …

Not required. If the only thing they want to do is to put some cleaner in the gas tank, you do it yourself with less than $20. If they want to pressure clean the injectors, you can also find a cheaper option with an independent mechanic, since it does not cover under warranty.
