Do you think Tesla should inquire Chrysler?

The reason I'm asking this question is would it be better if Tesla assumed ownership of Chrysler and bring Chrysler back under American ownership and restructure and to make it a better company. And not only that will give Chrysler an edge in electric vehicles and technology. But it will also give Tesla a network of dealerships to work with. That are long established in many communities throughout our country and the world.

When it comes to the consumer standpoint of buying vehicles:
Tesla makes complicated electric cars and thinks too far into the future and doesn't really care about it's customers

Chrysler is aquired by Fiat and Fiat's business hear is junk so they most likely will keep onto Chrysler and put their junky Fiat technology into Chrysler. So we would have Tesla/Chrysler/Fiat/Jeep/Dodge/Ram. Seems like a recapy for disaster.

Nope. Elon would NOT want any part of Chrysler. Chrysler is pretty much done. They didn't succeed with Mercedes and got drop kicked...then Fiat..which made things even worse. What was Chrysler latest hit ? The Mini Van?  They can't keep milking the same cow over and over..its too old now...There are other reasons as well. Elon does not want any Unions in his operation as it becomes a hindrance to his quick changes in operational strategy which in a Union setting would be like watching a slow motion movie.  As it is right now Fiat wanted to sell Chrysler but their were no takers thus far.  What does that mean...it means unless its a firesale no ones touching it. The only possibility to me is that a Chinese company buying it but more than likely it would need Federal approval and with the climate as it is..it would be a fat NO.

Okay now I pose the question...HOW would (under Tesla) Chrysler succeed and by what means ?  It can't be American ownership..it was sold by Americans to begin with..what changed ?
