2010 Dodge Avenger with 83000 miles has no check engine light but on cold start vehicle hard stays stuck on 2000rpm and vehicle doesn't react to the gas pedal being entirely to the ground until one keeps pressing it multiple times the car finally goes back to 750rpm.

You may need a new throttle position sensor -
