Scotty, howdy from another scotty, I am a local mechanic here in Ogallala Nebraska with a permanent fix to the random idle problems and random no start or cut out issue with these older Dodge Dakotas, but first, what is your opinion on Dodge Dakotas'? I have one that has 332k on it and still has about 110 psi compression in the cylinders, what is your personal opinion on them? Mine is a 1993, 3.9 5 speed 4x4 and I love it after I solved the issue I stated in the beginning of this question.
Please don’t double post, thanks.
Marked as private for Scotty, as requested.
i didn't mean to do it and got confused on how to delete the first post
No problem.
We're Johnny I'm not a fan of Dodge products with those old ones are actually much better built back in 93. You'll never get that kind of mileage out of a modern one since Fiat took over and now stelantis
I can agree, my biggest deal with most truck manufactures is they stopped putting their names on the truck, for example, Chevrolet, I wanna say from 2007 to the current day 2020 pickup, there wasn't a single one that came out factory, not custom ordered, that you could get Chevrolet on it, I personally am a Mopar guy but not anything they are producing today, if I was to purchase a new car, honestly, I would stick with something that's simple in design, like a corolla, or even something like a Buick, but pretty much anymore, everything is junk and to electronic.
but back to the names thing, if your not proud enough to put your name on your product, I don't want it honestly.
