I'm thinking about buying a used last gen dodge dakota (2006-crew cab-automatic-4x4). I'm not sure which engineer is better quality, the v6 or v8?

Depends on what your doing with the truck. The v8 is going to have plenty of power and go but it's going to drink a lot of gas and I think it holds more oil. The v6 will obviously have less power than the v8 but it will get better mpg and still have plenty of grunt.
