Hey guys so me and my girlfriend were on long trip in my Civic type R enjoying our Saturday. A guy pull up in his dodge hellcat I don't know the exact year but i think 2016 or 2017. He challenged me on the drag race I said No. Then he started revving and showing off. As soon as the light was green and he started going I heard a bang sound his transmission had blown up. Is that normal for dodge ? Or was it his big brain ?

The Hellcat gets a really beefy transmission. However, they do have a somewhat weak rear differential which could easily have popped and proceeded to spew fluid all over the place. That would be my guess as I've seen it happen a few times at the track.

Either way, the result is the same: a tow truck ride to a repair center.

I agree. That makes more sense to me, seen it happen at the drag strip on stock Hellcats.

No, that’s not normal.  The Hellcat uses the fairly stout and well built ZF 8-speed longitudinal transmission (8HP90).  With proper maintenance those can last a long time (easily >150,000 miles).  Are you sure that “bang” was from his transmission?

I saw a smoke and fluid leaking out below the car

The smoke was coming from the transmission judging from your description and also his pathetic ego.
