Hello everyone how's it going? Question does super coolant increase horsepower? I bought a bottle of VP Racing Madditive Cool Down Super Coolant for my Civic I poured the whole bottle in then regular premixed coolant and I'm curious as to if it increases horsepower? Seems to be I notice my Civic is faster after letting it run through the cooling system
It's mostly water (94% or greater)
A tiny bit of antifreeze
and a few drops of bittering agent (so people don't drink it. It has a very gatorade-esque color)
100% snake oil.
the marketing wankery should be a dead give-away ...

That's not what the cooling system is for. There is nothing to be lubricated.

Coolant temp is regulated by the thermostat. This is nonsense. It's just water.

Improves over what? air ... maybe?
Hmmmmmm....
Coolant and horse power? What else are they trying to relate? It's another scam.
