Is Toyota’s dynamic force engine essentially a turbo in disguise?
Turbos and Supers are all about forced induction. And the way the intake of a dynamic force engine is built, it seems to be akin to forced induction. It’s like having a turbo without a turbo. Or is this too much a stretch?

I think that's a stretch.
You either have a turbo/supercharger or you don't.

Well they do have turbo charged versions of some of those engines in use. That engine family is simply a platform and you can have naturally aspirated and turbocharged versions of it.
