Dear Scotty,
There are quite a few mixed reviews about E3 spark plugs. Some people love them and recommend them, others say avoid. What is your take on them?

I'd stay away from them just use the plugs that are designed for the car from the factory.

It's a scam and not a new one. Variations on multi-electrode plugs have come and gone for a long time as in this ad from 1955:
There's some real doozies in old copies of Car Craft/Hot Rod & of course the scam king, J.C. Whitney.
