So, I have narrowed down my choice for a fun project car to these two rear wheel 5-speed manual cars. I am leaning towards Mustang with some suspension upgrades. I am worried about everything breaking on the E36. Thoughts?
Yes stick to this thing though I think the fox bodies are ugly but beauty is in the eye of the beholder
Foxbody for a speedster, period.
I have built some insane Foxes and you can not beat the bang for the buck.
You don't want to mess with the headaches of the E36, especially when things start breaking.

its the generation of the BMW 3 series from the 90s
E36 is a nice car and they are well built, but they are expensive to repair and maintain. I am not a fan of the fox body mustangs but they can be good cars if well taken are of and they are cheaper to own. So yeah go ahead with the fox body mustang.
