Hello. I drive a 2022 Honda 11th Generation Civic Sport (3500 miles) with the naturally aspirated 2.0L k202C engine and cvt transmission. I like driving my car in eco mode, I like to think its easier on the engine and drivetrain in addition to the gas that it saves being real cool. My only concern is that the eco modes affinity for higher gears might set my engine up to be lugged to death. I'm not sure that's even prossible though given the cvt and the computer systems of the modern car but I'm no expert. I would like to hear the input of a seasoned professional, at your convenience.
Thank you much for all your information and work,
Ross
Well Honda knows how to make engines and transmissions. Don't worry about it. The modern cars use GDI fuel injection. That's nothing like the old systems that would log
Thank you for your response. Have an excellent fall weekend.
