I have a 1994 Lexus gs300.  One day the car started shutting down for no reason.  I changed the fuel pump, fuel filter, cleaned the map sensor, cleaned the intake, changed the spark plugs, cleaned the EG valve and filter.  I also had I mechanic check the wiring and current and voltage.  It was diagnosed bad ECU.  I bought one on line with a warranty.  It ran for a month then the car started shutting down again.  Currently I am waiting for Flagship One to check out and/or fix the ECU that they sent.  How do you have the ECU problems I old Lexus GS 300?y

Yea, will require time and checking things.  Without more extensive knowledge, I'd start with charging circuit on the assumption something is frying the ecu.  With that said, may still not be ecu.  This was a time when complexity was increasing without tools (ODBII) which makes it more difficult.  If I had it as a project I'd connect up an a/d converter to a lot of signals and capture data for post analysis... but your not gonna find someone to do that (unless you have an ole Hillbilly friend that likes challenges).  Nice car but might be trade time.
