Scotty, I have a 01 Nissan Maxima, 115,000 miles, 3.0. I bought the Fix'd scanner tool, big mistake, put it in my car, it started surging, overheated, steam everywhere! Cut the car off, hour later, filled with water, removed the fix'd crap, drove it around the corner to the store, turned the key off, car stayed running! Would not change gears or turn off, no acceleration either. Disconnected the battery to turn off. It killed the battery which had to be replaced, along with the starter, alternator and fuel pump! Have you ever heard of such a thing? Was wondering if that fix'd scanner could've done it or coincidence.

it's a Maxima, so coincidence.
