- I love in South Africa and I just started as a new auto parts salesman but my issue is that whenever a customer takes me to his car and opens the bonnet to show me the engine bay I have no idea on what is what ,please help me to get familiar with different engine bay part names and locations.

start studying drawings on part catalogs.

The problem is that depending on the mix of years and models you have to deal with there may not be a lot of commonality beyond the largest, most filthy object in the engine bay being the engine block.
You could go to a site like rockauto.com that provides photos and look up various parts to get an idea of what they look like.
