I have a Nissan Altima 2005 model 161000 miles automatic, what happened is that a week ago the car started for a moment and then stopped -In the morning-, I tried several times to start it but nothing for two days and there is no check engine light and always I hear the fuel pump sound normally every attempt to start it, in One of my attempts, I hit the fuel pedal and it started to work fine after that, I changed the Crank, Cam shift sensors and spark plugs last year - about 6000 miles - Is this a fuel pump issue or what? thank you.
Watch Scotty’s video on how to fix a car that cranks but won’t start. It’s a bad idea replacing expensive parts without a correct & thorough diagnosis, first.
Load test the battery & alternator, change your fuel filter & pressure test your fuel pump.
Yo may have a clogged fuel filter or weak fuel pump or both.
