Hi Scotty,

I am of your follower on your Youtube channel. I always watch your videos. Thank you because I learned a lot.

I need help. I have a 2000 Mercedes Benz E320 5 speed automatic. My engine dies when shifting gear at cold engine. I need to warm in 15mins before it runs normally. What's wrong with my car and what is the solution or things to check? Is this something that i need to change my transmission fluid?

Thank you in advance.

Check the transmission fluid level.

When was the last time you serviced that transmission?

Let the car warm up.

Thank you, Doc.

It is my commute car. Waiting for 5 mins to warm up is okay but not 15mins.

Thank you, Yaser for the quick response.

No idea. The car has already 210k miles and i got it when it was 180k miles. I can see some wet oil below the pan but i am not seeing oil drip on the floor where i park. No check engine.

Take the car to a shop which is specialized in Mercedes and have them scan it completely. The thing is that these cars are very complex and needs high level scan tool and experience to woek on them.

Okay. Thank you Yaser.

Take your check book with you, you'll need it.
