Hi Scott. My 1995 GMC G2500 with 5.7l TBI has misfire under load. I replaced all sensors and fuel pump. I recently noticed if I have in park and give it 3/4 to full throttle the engine surges up and down. I looked at injector and both will stop spraying gas for a second and continue to cycle on and off at high idle. Please help.
Well, if you give him full throttle and park, you can't use that to analyze anything cuz software will often shut the fuel injectors off to keep the engine from overriving while you're not driving. There are so many reasons you get a misfire. I would have to road test and look at my live data on my $5,000 scan tool. It could be a computer problem. It could be a fuel injector problem. It could be a computer ignition system problem. All kinds of things can do that
