Hi, after I took my car in for an oil change yesterday, I check the oil and its a lick under the second dot, is that ok? Should I top it off to the second dot exactly or is it fine this way?

Thanks

Hello,

Make sure the car is on level ground, wait for about five minutes after the engine stops

if the dipstick is still reading low, then top it up,

Check the level again after driving for a few miles to make sure you don't have any leaks

after the oil change.

Hope this Helps

All the Best.

It's in the "good" zone so you're fine. If it drop below minimum mark, then add some.

@mountainmanjoe
