I own a mercedes C Class 2017 , W205, 2.0 L
running on M274 engine
A quick read through on car service manual recommends MB approval 229.5 with no mentioning of other things, no mention of even API rating such as SL/SN
I bought a shell Helix HX8 , 5W30, at the back of it it says MB Approval 229.5,
exact wordings: API SL: meets engine test requirements of API SN PLUS and API SN, ACEA A3/B4 : MB approval 229.5
with the MB approval 229.5 can I use this engine oil?
