Hey Scotty, i have a 2002 chevy s10 4 cyl,5 speed manual trans. At 250000 miles the head gasket blew on me. So i put a reman engine in it. Its been working great ive been running 5w30 conventional oil for the first 3 oil changes. Can i run 5w30 full synthetic for high miliage or 5w30 full synthetic for new vehicles? 2nd question is. There is a code on obd2 for p0440 is evap emissions. So i changed the fuel cap,changed the evap check valve i dont know what else to check? Please help me out Scotty!

Read the requirements from the engine manufacturer regarding oil grade and weight. You probably have a contaminated charcoal canister.
