My car is Toyota Rav4,2007,2.4L petrol.Mistakenly(i thought oil burning) i ran this car more than one year with over filled engine oil(more than one liter).
Please advise me what i should do now.
Nothing that you can do now.
If it was slightly overfilled (half a quart or so), then it’s probably fine.
If the engine is not leaking out of its seals then you should be OK. Just be sure from now on that oil is kept at the proper level.
After one year, you should get an oil change. And fill it properly. That’s about all you can do.
If you got out the same amount of oil that you put in, and there is nothing leaking, you did no harm. Be sure to get the right amount of oil this time. Run the engine a minute or so, then turn it off and let the oil fall to the sump for 10 minutes or so, then check the dipstick. Some oil is always retained in the oil filter, so if you check it before running the engine again, you might get an indication of a false overfill.
Hi Dear Sir,
I have already changed the engine oil. There is a tiny bit of (maybe 2 to 3 drops) oil leak in the sparkling plug holder. The engine is making a bit of noise. When the engine heats up, the noise sometime go away but sometimes it's persistant.
I am thinking that inside the engine is a bit foamy or not due to overfilled engine oil for a long time.
Can I use engine flush to clean engine? If yes, what engine flush(Name) should I use?I know some of the engine flush name but i need the expert opinion(engine flush name)

And when i drive my car on slop road,i can't picking up the speed though i push the accelerator.
