Hello, I have a question regarding to an issue I have with my automatic Montero LS 1989.
She is having this issue where it stalls after 20 - 30 minutes of accelerating, it feels like the engine is intermittently stalling, sometimes it’s difficult to start the engine on and what I feel when it does it is like it’s low on gas and shoots out throughout the exhaust like a small explosion.
A colleague of mine that owned one told me it could be the Crankshaft Position Sensor.
Any tip or knowledge can be helpful! Thank you!

A colleague of mine that owned one told me it could be the Crankshaft Position Sensor.
Seeing as how the car is 35 years old it could be almost anything. Are there any OBD1 codes?
