Engine stalls on 2006 Ford 500 and then have to shift to neutral and then back to drive to get traction. What can I repair?

When I drive on the freeway cruising around 60 mph and then attempt to increase speed, the Ford 500 (2006 year) stalls and then I have to shift to neutral and shift back to drive to gain traction. It then does shift gears and I am then able to increase the speed but it is rough and the problem persist. Any suggestion you can help me with? Torque converter, replace throttle body?? I already replaced all the coils and spark plugs and that eliminated the check engine light. I also cleaned the throttle body.

Unfortunately many things can do that change the fuel filter first and check the fuel pump pressure as a wheat fuel pumper is very common.pray it's not the torque converter or transmission going out it would take a good Ford mechanic with a dealer scan tool to road test and figure out if the torque converter or the transmission is going out
