Got a 99 s10 2.2 5spd 141k miles. Changed oil and put a quart of Lucas to help with wear and tear. Ended up with high oil pressure, broken timing chain guides and a tick/misfire on no.1. Changed oil again with no Lucas, changed timing chain, new spark plugs/wires. Changed water pump and serpentine belt. Still have the tick and misfire on no.1.

You should first pinpoint it. For the misfire, change the spark plug wire on cylinder 1 with another cylinder and check if the misfire follows. If so, change the wires and spark plugs.
All 4plugs and wires are brand new and gapped correctly. Timing chain also replaced. Tick is on tdc of no.1. Cam bearing or lifter?
