Extending Civic range

Hello yall, this is kind of a silly project I’ve been tossing around in my head. I have a 2010 Honda Civic coupe 1.8 L with about 125,000 miles I drive about 2000 miles a month for work. The range unfortunately about 300 miles until I have to fill up. I know there is a way to do this as there are much more complex engineering projects. But would there be a way to put a 10ish gallon auxiliary fuel tank in my trunk, and somehow tap it in to the existing fuel tank and with the push of a button from the driver seat be able to open a valve in the aux tank to fill up the primary tank? Thanks for the advice lol
