I have 2016 f150 economist 3.5. Lately when I hit 100 km/h, I’m getting a vibration up through truck like I’m on a rumble strip. It is consistent at higher speed and tends to disappear at local speeds around 60 km/h. Had front end checked, replaced a vacuum hose on front hubs, checked rear, checked and balanced tires, all is in perfect shape but still vibrates at higher speeds , I’m lost here?
haven't seen that on an f150. I know that other some other ford trucks suffer from the "death wobble"
Guess #1
Have drive shaft linkage and balance checked.
I had the same problem on my '10 F-150. I could make the rumble come and go depending on how heavy I was on the gas pedal. I also had everything checked out, even had the computer SW updated. Nothing helped. Then I had the transmission fluid change, the screens cleaned and the problem went away. I think the screens were clogged and the transmission fluid was not flowing freely.
