what SIZE car is good for a family of 4? we are not sure if we are ever going to need a third row and how much room is going to be in the back. it can be from any brand except the fiat group and jlr and we are leasing so it doesn't matter because cars rust so much u in the northeast
Midsize Sedan, maybe even a spacious compact one, or a small SUV.
This includes Toyota Camry, Mazda 6, Honda Civic, Subaru Forester, Toyota RAV4...
In a family of 5 the small SUV we have is very very tight but it should be fine with 4 but on trips longer than half an hour we take the minivan.
You could also get a 3 row Midsize SUV like Highlander, Pilot, CX-9 and fold the third row seats for extra cargo space and use it when you need it. Beware though, even vehicles the size of the Acura MDX and Toyota Highlander have nearly USELESS third row seats they are so tight. If you need one, I'd get a minivan.
4 doors or a normal SUV.
Accord/Camry, Rav4/Pilot, etc.
ok what do you mean ""normal suv?
I mean you don't need a monster SUV like an Expedition, Suburban, etc. Something the size of a RAV4 would work fine as you said you have no need for third row seats.
For sedan I recommend: Toyota Camry, Avalon; Honda Accord; Mazda 6
For crossover/SUV, I recommend: Toyota RAV4, Highlander; Honda Pilot; Mazda CX-9
