Just wanted to share some information about FiatChrysler. There is a class action lawsuit against them for dropped warranties and service contracts regarding a "Powertrain Inspection" that they allege is required every 3 years in order to retain their Lifetime Powertrain Warranty (the suit was filed in May 2020). We purchased our Aspen BECAUSE of the Lifetime Powertrain Warranty!

We own a Chrysler Aspen 2007 (automatic) and had our lifetime warranty AND service contract dropped in April 2020. I have read the entire original warranty manual that came with my vehicle when we purchased it, brand new, and there is no language in the warranty about a Powertrain Inspection. I have reached out to the law firm that is handling the class action lawsuit and may be brought in on this suit, as we were directly effected. The brief that was filed on behalf of about 26 plaintiffs in available online. Never buying a Chrysler ever again. They have lost a customer for life.
