Finding after market headlights for a 2020 volvo s60

So as you see I am looking for aftermarket headlights on my dad's volvo S60 but of course I can't seem to find a single website that sells aftermarket headlights for the 2020 volvo s60. One time he called the dealer and it would cost $3,000 to get a OEM replacement. If not should my dad get rid of this car and get something better like a Toyota camry or evenca corolla? Let me know.

Thanks.

Well it looks like you may be stuck. I've checked multiple sources, including overseas sites that I've bought Saab parts from (most handle Volvo as well) and Volvo OEM discount sites. For whatever reason those headlights are treated like they're made of gold.

Aftermarket parts appear to be unobtainium. The OEM parts seem to be available only as complete assemblies costing around $1700 each even at sites selling original Volvo parts at a discount. Even tried car-part.com to see what good used parts would cost and came up empty.

Maybe someone else here has more ideas but it does not look promising.

@chucktobias perhaps he can try his luck by taking a look at a junkyard

More information is needed. What part of the headlight assembly needs to be replaced and why? The exterior lenses? Bulbs? Sockets? Electronics? Everything?

Of course a Toyota is likely going to be more reliable as well as easier and less expensive to repair than a Volvo, but you're talking about a different driving experience and your dad would have to make that decision.
