Hey Scotty,
I'm 17 and looking for my first car. I am interested in a 2008-2012 Honda Accord V6 Coupe (Auto) with around 200-250k kilometres. Is this a good pick? Is there anything I should look for and do you have any additional recommendations for first cars for about $5-8k? (I prefer Honda and Acura vehicles, but open to other brands)

Excellent choice assuming it checks out. Just make sure that the timing belt has been changed on schedule, or that you put aside money to have it changed.
Also, try to get the version without VCM if possible.
If you don’t want to deal with the timing belt, go with a 4 cylinder engine. They use timing chains instead of timing belts.
