Hi Scotty, I have a 04 ford f150 5.4 xlt rwd, I replace the flex plate and when I started the truck it was fine but when I tried to go up a slope that’s when it started knocking and when I looked at the flex plate it was broken again. Can you explain what happen or did I installed it wrong? Thank you Scotty

Well, if the engine has a lot of mileage and is worn, does the crank bearings the crank will move back and forth and that will break the plate quickly. And of course there's a lot of cheap aftermarket crap out there. If you got a Chinese flex blade, they'll just break as soon as you put them on. They're so junky. Also, if if they talking for her has a problem it could wobble and break it too
