How reliable are Focuses?
2014 model 6 speed manual (with the 2.0 4 cylinder NOT the 3 cylinder) taken care of if considering will have mechanic check it out

Can you give a little more info. such as will this be your primary vehicle, are you looking to keep long term, and how many miles do you hope to get out of it?

Realize that a bunch of those have been recalled in Ford even is buying back some of them run away from those cars and they don't make them anymore also they are extinct

For long term reliability, I would avoid the Focus.

They were not well built cars and were built with the quality you would expect from an American manufacturer to put into one of their cheapest vehicles.
I would avoid it.
