- Hi Scotty ,my son gifted me a very clean 2010 Ford Eddie Bauer Explorer 60,00 miles 4x4 6 cylinder
- All maintenance records included and well maintained.
- This will be replacing my 2003 Highlander 6 cylinder front wheel drive 187,000
- Any advice on what to expect since I am departing from the Toyota family?

Well those explorers have a history of being called exploders. If it’s been well maintained could be decent but I’d only drive it till about 120k mi cause I don’t want to empty my bank account.

The automatic transmission on those things are weak. Make sure you change your ATF every 60k miles.

Take care of it, especially the transmission is known for being weak so change the fluid every 40k miles or so.
