Hi Scottie.......I have a '09' Ford Escape Hybrid with 172K miles that sat for a few months and now won't even jump start. Do I need to charge the Hybrid battery...or what can I do to bring it 'back to life'..? A mechanic got it started and it was running fine then it sat for a few weeks and it 'died' again and won't jump start again either. Could it be the ECM/PCM relay....The message on the Dash said 'Stop Safely Now with the Red Triangle, Thanks, Tim

realize if your small regular 12-volt battery has gone bad it will not start. I would start there. Because that's the only thing you can do. the hybrid battery if it has gone low has to be charged by a special machine that only electric car mechanics have because it cost tons of money.
