Hey Scotty, I am thinking of buying my first used pickup truck. Are the Ford F-150 3 liter 6 cylinder diesel trucks good? How long could they last? I also am considering the 8 cylinder F150 as well, are the ones from 2009-2014 good?

3.0L seems pretty weak for a full size pickup.
I'm guessing that would be a turbocharged ecoboom. Stick with naturally aspirated.

Ford discontinued the baby Powerstroke for the F150. Wasn’t out that long and most techs at the dealership won’t know how to work on one. I’d go with the 5.0 V8. 2014 was a overall good year for the F150 👍.
