Stay away from Eco boost engines. Find a 5.0 equipped truck.

DO NOT...under any circumstances...purchase 2018+ with the Coyote 5.0L V8. I bought one and, like many others, it was nothing but trouble. I had to spend a full year suing Ford before finally winning and getting my money back.

They changed over to plasma lining for the cylinder walls and everything went downhill in a giant dumpster fire. Plenty of info online about it if you research F150 oil consumption.

Funny, I just recommended that same model year to my brother in law to fit his needs.  And I too would have recommended older but he wants as a daily driver too and less maintenance.

Ditto ecoboost... they just don't seem to last.
