Guys Pls help, I've got 2005 Ford mk6 zetec fiesta... Just stalls when driving / idling.. No error code showing, cleaned throttle body, replaced tps sensor, repositioned relays, cleaned pump filter, new oil filter, cleaned sensor on front wheel arm... Still stalls..tried by passing vacuum pipes. Still stalls. Only when I switch relays it delays stalls intervals. Pls advice
What does a snapshot taken of live data when the problem occurs reveal?
How do I get the snapshot... Running engine & connecting scan reader? 🤔
Yes, there should be a setting in your scan tool for recording data for playback later. Even most inexpensive scan tools these days can do that, but if yours is an older low-end model it may not have that functionality.
A snapshot occurs when a code is set - If no codes are set, there are no snapshots.
I may have the terminology wrong but it should be possible to record data while the problem occurs and see if there's something obviously out of whack in fuel trims etc.
Most code readers are able to read to display freeze frame data (a snapshot of the engine parameters at the moment a DTC is set). This is a function that's built into every vehicle's OBD system.
.
Logging ... or recording your chosen parameters for graphing etc is usually a function of the more expensive tools, because it needs on-device memory and additional functionality to play it back and display it.
@mmj, my $60 CGSULIT scan tool does live data recording, playback, and graphing.
@chucktobias then that tool is pretty schmick
@mmj, Scotty featured it in one of his videos about a year ago. Pretty nice scanner for the price, though I got the next more expensive one in the lineup which for about $20 more has a little bit larger screen and a few extra buttons for convenience. Basic functionality is about the same.

there's just one thing I need to know about it .... how do you pronounce the name?
I haven't figured that one out yet! 😆
record data while the problem occurs
Yep! I agree.
fiesta (...) stalls when driving
check the fuel pressure, sounds like the typical Ford quality fuel pumps.
Also, clean the intake sensors, the throttle, etc.
These are the things that are really hard to diagnose when you're not directly near the car.
Thanks for the comments,
I'll update... I've just been informed on another fird forum that its most probably speed sensor because I realized when driving really slow.. It does not stall... Driving really, really slow.
