Hey Scotty, I'm in the UK (Cornwall) I have a 09 plate 1560 cc 1.6 tdci ford focus that I recently had my friends a mechanic service and he changed the oil filter, fuel filter etc went on a trip to London and came back and the car started then stalled and sounded like a machine gun. I had a mechanic come up and try spraying brake cleaner in and then me turn it over which we had to do after the service to get it running. This didn't get it started this time but the mechanic said it was the fuel sending unit which I replaced... Drove for half a day went to start and again stalled and machine gun but not starting up... No fuel to the engine. I had another mechanic say its the fuel pressure regulator... But I've taken it to a good garage and they've bled the system and the car started up then drove for half a day and again stalled and wouldn't start. They now think it's a faulty fuel filter? Which they've changed and bled the system again I'm hoping this fixes it as we are all running out of ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated on narrowing it down.
That is all diesels can be hellacious to work on change the fuel filter first prey it's that if not it's probably going to need a new pump

Hey Scotty! Yes you were Spot on it was the fuel filter as one of the guys at the garage nearby found no diesel in the fuel filter changed it out for a genuine part (I got mine from euro car parts and won't make that mistake again) I next thing is I've just got a ob2 that plugs in and can regen dpfs which I hoped would sort my P2002 & P244A codes but no after clearing it's comeback. Car drives smoothly still 🙂 any ideas on the code? Thanks again! Keep up the great videos I'm making it my mission to watch every single. One, as I'm quite new to the channel
