Hey Scotty! Love your videos! My question is my 2016 Ford Fusion SE 120,000 miles I bought with 18,000 miles and have done nothing but new fires and oil changes. I got a new battery professional installed and didn’t use the car for 3 days. When I went to use it the door panel keypad would not light up. This was a major problem because I leave my keys in the car locked because I can always use the door keypad to enter the vehicle. This time it did not work and the keys were locked in the car. I had to use triple A to gain access to the vehicle and the problem seemed to be a dead battery. If no lights were left on how could a brand new battery only three weeks old completely drain after 3 days and cause the car to not even light up the keypad entry? It took a while for the car to jumpstart after this but it finally turned over and now it is running fine. Something electrical maybe? Thanks for any info you can give me and maybe it was just a fluke thing I know Ford Sedans are not the best but this one has been good to me besides this problem.

I also have a 2016 Ford Fusion se and strange but I got mine with 20k on it and now have 136k on it and same problem with my battery and it was the cold cracking amps so I got a die hard battery and that didn't last but a few months so it was replaced for free but I found out that you can't have anything plugged in not even a phone charger cause it will drain the battery also something like your light in the grove box might not be going off when you close it also I drive rideshare and found out that short rides can hurt the battery and that idling to long can drain it also so not sure that helps but good luck with it I also love mine (except for the 90 dollar oil changes) and plan on keeping it until it's no longer reliable

I can't help you with your battery situation, but the Fusions without the ecoboost motors are quite fine.

If you are 100% sure that the battery was fine, and you did not leave any light me on, you may have some sort of battery drain issue which you should pinpoint it. Scotty has a video on that.
