Hey what’s your opinion on new fords and new Chevys . Witch brand is more reliable with old and new cars ?
I wouldn't buy either one of them if they were made after 2006. Especially the 1/2 ton pickups.
New- none.
Older cars- Chevy and ford has made a good handful of them but I would go with Ford.
I myself owned a 90 F150 5.0L and now a 93 k1500 silverado 5.7L. In my personal opinion the chevy comes out on top if it has a 5.7L 350 in it. The ford literally was falling apart and was very very very difficult to work on compared to my 93 chevy. I notice that the engine bay is also a lot more simple on the chevy which makes it much more easy to fix and find any problems. Also one last thing is that parts are actually cheaper too from what I noticed.
New - Both are junk
Older - Ford
