One of the frame machine guys I know said they have the car for sale for $5000 its got a 2.5 4cyl but an automatic do you all think the car is being sold too cheap? its got 150,000 miles on it but it has no check engine light and the transmission grabs good. It needs tires but all 4 tires are evenly worn down.
sold too cheap?
Ford cars cannot be sold too cheap
I agree, and that’s the beautiful thing about them when buying used.
Well it's only a four-cylinder actually if you ask me the things overpriced. That kind of mileage the engine probably doesn't have that much left to it or the transmission
Thanks I appreciate the response, I went back the guy dropped the price to 4000 but I just decided no thanks on it besides I'm not hurting for transportation.
At 150,000 miles, I would pass on it: not much useful life left.
Im thinking that too I guess they dont make cars like they used to in the 90s and early 2000s I dont know much about modern cars so Im glad this site is here to ask questions.
No, I'm afraid they do not. Modern cars are full of gotchas. You have to carefully research any you're thinking of buying and then have a mechanic check it out with a fancy scan tool to avoid getting burned.
