Have a 2011 GMC Sierra pickup and the front struts were replaced. The job took a long time and when I asked what was up? They said the top plate had something connected to the old struts but they couldn't transferred it to the new struts. They told me not to worry and that it would ride fine. It rides ok But I read where some have a leveling system. How do I find out if it had on my own? And will it do any harm to the trucks drive line with the leveling system missing if it is?
Well long as it rides okay I wouldn't worry about it most of that GM leveling crap doesn't work all that well anyway and it could very well be that they didn't buy factory replacement so the original stuff some of the parts will not fit
2011 GMC Sierra crew cab with a 5.3 auto transmission. Transmission oil isn't black but dirty. Oil is dirty red in color. Could I change out the oil? I want to keep this truck for some time.
Change the fluid and filter. When was it last changed? What mileage?
Sorry.
115090 is the mileage on the truck.
Transmission oil is between light to a darker brown. The oil dose not smell brunt.
