Hey scotty, can you help me, I got a 99 ford ranger with 209,000 . Its been sitting for a year and a quarter, I start it up twice a week so the engine doesn't lock up, I add gas with a gas can every month, will that ruin my fuel ejectors?

"injector" is the word you're looking for. Fuel is injected into the cylinders (like a medicine needle), not ejected.

As long as the fuel you're adding is fairly fresh, it can't ruin the injectors. However, just running your Ranger in the driveway isn't enough. If you want to keep the truck healthy, you need to take it for a brisk drive once or twice a month. Take it on the highway and get it good and hot for at least 20min.

Well, I cant drive it on roads, their is no plates on it, my father parked it their, saying it would be mine, the only road we have half a mile long to nobody else, you can only do 10 or 15 miles, is that fast enough?

it's better than nothing. Just drive back and forth until the temp gauge reaches 200F or so.

Ok, 200 is normal temperature, (I don't have numbers on my temp gauge) and thanks for the help
