What's good everyone hope you all are doin well. So my mom passed her 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo to me a week ago as she traded her TLX for a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee (Rest In Peace) to my Civic... So ever since I've been driving it for 2 months now I've noticed a bug with the fuel gauge when I fill it up the range miles goes up to 596 when the average fuel economy is at 25.4 but when the range miles drops to 570 the needle drops to near the line under F. A5 496 range miles it drops to the third line under the second line. Now I will say I do have a tuner chip installed to the Jeep so it gets an extra 5 miles per gallon so it gets 22 City 30 Highway and have noticed the improvement however the fuel gauge needle is a big concern to me cause how's the range miles higher but the needle reads lower? Plus my question is which should I go by the range miles or the fuel gauge? What's everyone's recommendation? Edit: It has over 163,300 miles
Get rid of the "tuner chip" so the vehicle can do what it's supposed to do.
(Thumbs Up) will do
