[Solved] Fuel hose melted and squeezed

After a fire with my crown vic, I noticed the fuel hose from the fuel return (if I'm not mistaken) is melted and squeezed not letting it flow properly (I'm assuming)

Whats the easiest way to fix it without spilling fuel everywhere and without needing to shrink melt any hoses on without a torch to start another fire? 😄😄

Any idea what I'm talking about?

Here is a photo of the damaged hose

Don't mess around. Just replace that whole section

When it comes to fuel lines, don't do band-aid fixes, change the whole section like @MountainManJoe said.

My question is what part is considered the whole section to replace. And how do I go about doing that.

And would that part being squeezed like that make my MPG'S really bad?

Hi, if my fuel return hose is pinched or squeezed, will that cause extra fuel to be burnt and therefore causing bad MPG's?
