Hi Scotty, I Have a low milage (only 110,000 kms yes kms) well kept 1999 Toyota tercel CE with auto transmission. Everything on the car has been maintained and works perfectly except my low fuel warning light no longer works. Could this be a sensor, short or burnt out bulb. The gauge works fine. This is the only problem but it's enough to annoy me. Any thoughts as if it's just a bulb or short issue I could probably fix it myself. But if it's a sensor that needs replacing Im not sure how that could be resolved it at all.
Cheers Morgan
Ps this was the last year Toyota made these cars in Japan before changing to the yaris
did you try searching for a wiring schematic?
If you regularly wait till the low fuel light turns on, to refuel, the next thing you’ll soon need might be a fuel pump..
