Fuel/Oil Additive

Scotty, I was a Seafoam guy until I a few years back when I watched an episode where you recommended the gas/oil additive Gumout Multi-System Tune-Up with PEA.  I've had fantastic results in my car/truck/lawn equipment, etc.  Now you seem to repeatedly advocate for a much more expensive gas/oil additive called 505 Pour-In.  Based on limited research, they appear to accomplish the exact same goals.  However, the Gumout is 80% less expensive than 505.  I'm tempted to try your recommendation of 505, but why should I pay so much more for pretty much the same results?

These are meant to be used every now and again, or for problem engines. Not regular use. How often are you using it?

Quarterly in vehicle. Regular use in old lawn equipment.

Also, never in vehicle oil - just one can in the gas tank quarterly.
