I have a 1997 toyota corolla 4afe 1.6 l i just have a problem when turning left the fuel pump just isn't getting fuel happen pretty much ever time unless it is completely full then It won't do it but once you use a gallon or 2 it's will start right back any ideas on a fix would be great
What makes you think the fuel pump isn't getting fuel when you turn left? Unless the tank is near empty, the two are not related. When did you last replace the fuel filter in this 26 year old car?
Your 26-year-old fuel pump is probably weak.
Fuel pump isn't bad everything is brand new just rebuilt the car from front to back the reason I think the fuel pump isn't getting fuel is because it drives fine idles fines just loses fuel when turning left do to the horrible fuel pump set up I have read on toyota Nation fourm that I should probably extend the fuel pump pickup with a hose because if your fuel isn't absolutely full when you turn left all the fuel gose to the right side of the tank when the fuel pump is on the left side of the car just want some other opinions before I mess with it again
