Fuel treatment

Hello everyone. So this is a question I've been thinking to ask but kept forgetting but what's happening if a person uses a fuel treatment every fill up? Are there consequences or is it safe?

Nothing will really happen other than like @mountainmanjoe said, your wallet will get lighter.

You do not need a fuel treatment every fill up, even if you are using bargain-basement fuel. If you are using top tier fuels like Shell or Chevron, their fuel already has treatment agents in it so you would REALLY be wasting your money.

Oh okay

This question gets asked here dozens of times, I will let you use the search box to find the answers that were given.

Basically, the consequences are a lighter wallet , because you don't need it.

If the bottle says it's safe to use with every fill up, then it's probably ok.

It's not bad at all. In fact, some gas stations like Chevron include a fuel treatment package in their gas (Techron), so each time you fill up gas there you're getting a nice little fuel treatment as well.

Oh that's good

I like running a bottle of treatment through the engine when I go on a trip. That way I burn it through in one day. I also like to add it before I pump the gas in the car to get a really good mix. I guess it will mix up as I drive around though.

I love using Seafoam, but I don't use it every fill up. As others have said it is a waste of money. My personal take is I use a can on every oil change (or I dump it in my tank if we are having a deep freeze to prevent fuel line freeze up)
